A day where vulnerable families receive free professional grooming and care, and our students practise their craft in the service of others.
Dignity is a service, not a handout
Community Dignity Days bring the Lintons Academy to the people who rarely get to sit in a salon chair. For one day, vulnerable youth, women and families are welcomed as clients, not cases, and treated with the same standard of care we give every learner.
For our students, it is real-world practice with real impact. For our guests, it is a haircut, a manicure, a fresh outfit, and the rare, powerful feeling of being cared for.
What happens on a Dignity Day
Every station is run by Lintons Academy students and trainers, turning skills into service.
Manicures and nail care
Nail technology students deliver gentle, hygienic hand and nail care, one person at a time.
Makeovers
Skincare and makeup artists help guests feel seen, valued and confident again.
Clothing and essentials
Donated clothing and essentials are sorted and shared with dignity, never as a handout.
